I'm getting an error from steam saying "An error occurred while updating SCP: Secret Laboratory (missing executable)".

Description of issue

If you're using an antivirus and encountering an issue where SCPSL.exe is falsely flagged as a malicious program, this is a false-positive error.

Solution: Exclude SCPSL.exe from Scanning

To temporarily resolve the issue, you'll need to exclude SCPSL.exe from your anti-virus scanning software. A list of guides for common anti-virus software can be found here!
