I keep getting "[SL-AC] Virtual Machines are not allowed. Please play the game on your computer."

Playing SCP: Secret Laboratory on a Virtual Machine is blocked, and, as such, you will not be permitted to join verified servers while using one.

Solution:

If you are not using a Virtual Machine but still see this error, ensure that all Processes from any virtual machine software are ended.
