Updating Intel drivers

Step 1: Download and Install Intel Driver & Support Assistant

• Go to Intel’s Official Website
  • Open your browser and visit: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
• Download the Tool
  • Click "Download Now" under Intel Driver & Support Assistant.
  • Run the downloaded installer
• Install the Tool
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  • Once installed, the tool will run in the background (check your system tray).

Step 2: Scan for Driver Updates

• Launch Intel DSA
  • Open your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox).
  • The tool should automatically open a new tab.
  • If it doesn’t, look for the Intel icon in your system tray (bottom-right) and click it.
• Start the Scan
  • Click "Start Scanning" to check for available driver updates.

Step 3: Install Updates

• Check Detected Updates
  • The tool will list all outdated Intel drivers (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Graphics, Chipset, etc.).
  • Click "Download" next to each driver you want to update. 
    
    • or you can click download all in the top right
• Install the Drivers
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
  • Some drivers may require a system restart.

Step 4: Verify Update was successful

• Re-run Intel DSA
  • Open the tool again and scan to ensure no further updates are pending.
