GPU Drivers updating or reinstalling
Ensure your GPU Drivers are up-to-date
NVIDIA GPU
To check for updates for your NVIDIA GPU Drivers, You’ll need to install the Nvidia App. If you already have it installed, follow this to check for updates:
Methods
Method 1: Automatic Update (Recommended)
- Open Nvidia App

Win + S
, type "Nvidia App", and open it. -
If you don’t have it installed, download it from NVIDIA’s official site. Make sure you download the game ready driver.

- Log In (If Required)

Sign in with an account of your choosing.

- Check for Updates

Go to the "Drivers" tab at the top.

If an update is available, you’ll see a "Download" button.

- Download & Install

Click "Download" → Wait for the download to finish.

Click "Express Installation" (recommended for most users).

Alternatively, choose "Custom Installation" if you want to:

Perform a clean install (removes old settings).

Install only specific components (e.g., PhysX, HD Audio).

- Follow On-Screen Instructions

Wait for the installation to complete (your screen may flicker).

- Restart Your PC

Some driver updates need a restart to take effect.

Method 2: Manual Driver Download (Alternative)
If Nvidia App isn’t working, you can manually download drivers:
Visit NVIDIA’s Driver Download Page.
Enter your GPU model (e.g., RTX 3060) and OS details.
Download the latest game ready driver and run the installer.
AMD GPU
Methods
Method 1: Manual Update (Recommended)
- Open AMD Adrenalin Software

, type "AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition", and open the app. -
If you don’t have it installed, download it from AMD’s official site.

- Check for Updates

Click the "Settings" (Gear icon) in the top-right corner.

Go to the "System" tab.

Under "Software Update", click "Check for Updates".

- Download & Install the Latest Driver

If an update is available, click "Download" and wait for it to finish.

Once downloaded, click "Install".

Choose "Factory Reset" (Optional) – Recommended if you're experiencing issues (cleans old driver files).

- Follow the On-Screen Instructions

The installer may prompt you to close running applications.

Wait for the installation to complete (your screen may flicker).

- Restart Your PC (If Required)
