• Verify the integrity of your Windows installation to ensure that you are not missing any necessary files. 
• Ensure that you are not on Windows Insider Edition

General solutions

• Try launchingrefreshing theyour gameauthentication astoken Administratorby:
  • openOpening steamyour ->player libraryconsole ->by rightpressing click` SCP:SLor ->~
  manage
  • Type -> browse local files -> right click SCPSL.exear and clickpress "run as admin" enter.
• SwitchPerform thea gameclean branchreinstall to another available, then back to the one you want.here.
  
• Moving the game to another drive
• LaunchConnect an ethernet cable to your PC and Router if possible, or if you are already using ethernet, try using a wifi connection.
• Attempt a reinstall of network drivers
  
• Attempt to play the game with RESET ALL settings option
  •

• Run a full Antivirus scan, with your software of choice.
