I'm getting "Verification passcode is not correct" error message

This error usually happens due to the token in verkey.txt being incorrect, or invalidated.

Causes:

  • Server being offline for extended time, resulting in verkey becoming invalid.
  • Server IP changed (dynamic IP) and user not requesting dynamic IP verification.
    • Note: Server verification is IP bound. If you are using a host provider, it is port bound. Please reach out to your host provider if you are getting this error, they should be able to reissue you a verkey.

Solution:

  • Please contact our verification team via the server.verification@scpslgame.com email from the same email that is in config_gameplay.txt, to confirm ownership. In the email ask for a token reset and provide your server's IP, port and if you have a static or dynamic IP.
    • If your IP is dynamic please include that you have a dynamic IP in the email.
