Server Grouping (!group)
Server grouping lets related entries appear together on the server list.
-
If you are not using a VHP (Verified Hosting Provider), you can group multiple accounts.
-
If you are using a VHP, you can group multiple servers.
Grouped accounts/servers will only display together if they pass the community and geolocation checks described below.
When grouping is active, the server list will attempt to display your grouped entries next to each other (as a single “cluster”), as long as they are close enough by geolocation and meet the rules.
Example: Server List Before and After Grouping (Northwood Official)
Before Grouping (No !group)
Servers are sorted individually, which can cause official servers from the same community to appear separated by other entries.
| Position | Server Name |
|---|---|
| 8 | Northwood Official EU #2 |
| 9 | Community Server Alpha |
| 10 | Northwood Official EU #3 |
After Grouping (Using !group)
Servers that belong to the Northwood Official community are grouped and displayed together.
| Position | Server Name |
|---|---|
| 8 | Northwood Official EU #2 |
| 9 | Northwood Official EU #3 |
| 10 |
Community Server Alpha |
Requirements
1) Same community requirement (strict)
Grouping is only allowed if both accounts/servers belong to the same community, which means:
-
They are owned by the same person.
-
They use the same community name
(the in-game server name does not have to match exactly, but it must clearly indicate that all servers are part of the same community). -
They have the same staff and the same higher management
(exceptions may be allowed, e.g. different staff for RP and non-RP servers). -
If applicable, they share the same external community presence, such as:
-
Discord server
-
Steam community/group
-
Website
-
Patreon page
-
etc.
-
Important: Multiple communities owned by the same person (even if they are part of a bigger network/group) are still considered different communities.
Grouping is only allowed when all grouped servers are part of the same single community, not a “group of communities”.
2) Geolocation requirement (must be close)
Grouping also depends on location:
-
Both entries must fall into the same rounded region.
-
Entries cannot be too far away from each other (example: a US server and an EU server cannot be grouped).
Examples:
-
Server A is ~200 km away and Server B is ~300 km away → they will NOT be grouped
-
Server A is ~50 km away and Server B is ~200 km away → they WILL be grouped
How to use !group
-
Make sure the servers/accounts you want to group meet both:
-
Same community rules
-
Geolocation rules
-
-
Identify the lowest Account ID / Server ID among the entries you want grouped.
-
Run the
!groupcommand on the account/server with the LOWEST ID. -
After the server list refreshes, your entries will be displayed together if all requirements are met.
Note: Grouping display is dependent on geolocation checks. Even if
!groupis enabled, entries that are not considered close enough will not be shown together.
Rules enforcement
Violating the grouping rules may result in:
-
Being banned from using the
!groupcommand, and/or -
Your account/server being removed (delisted) from the server list
Use grouping only for legitimate “same community” servers/accounts.
