SCP:SL crashes after displaying a small window with a loading bar and error icon

Description of issue

Before continuing, please ensure that you meet the requirements to play SCP:SL. Your PC specs should match or be more powerful than the current minimum specs on steam- anything less powerful risks having issues occur simply due to your hardware not being able to keep up with SCP:SL. As well, please ensure you are on an up-to-date version of Windows 11 and other operating systems are not supported at this time.

Trying a clean reinstall has been known to help. Moving the game to another drive has been known to help. Perform a Clean reinstall. Perform a Windows File integrity check.
