Failed to download servers list. InternalServerError

This issue is caused by an Internet Service provider (ISP) failing to connect to SCP:SLs central servers. In some cases, the ISP blocks Central Servers entirely.

Your PC specs should match or be more powerful than the current minimum specs on steam-steam. anythingAnything less powerful risks having issues occur simply due to your hardware not being able to keep up with SCP:SL. As well, please ensure you are on an up-to-date version of Windows 11 and other operating systems are not supported at this time.

Resolution steps

  • Perform a Clean Reinstall.
  • Turn your router off for 5 minutes and turn it back on
  • Contact your internet provider to request a new IP Address.
  • Attempt to Play SCP:SL with a VPN of your choice. Here is our list of VPNs. Should you be able to connect via a VPN, the issue lies with your internet connection - you should contact your internet provider for further assistance.
