Use a VPN

Sometimes the issue may be out of our control, be it faulty hardware or an ISP issue. Often, the solution to this is to use a VPN.

Below are a few free recommendations

  • ProtonVPN is a solid service with multiple available servers and plenty of settings.
  • Cloudflare WARP is another free option. While less fleshed-out it's also less complicated.

These VPNs are able to connect to our central servers without problems, under normal circumstances. Not all VPNs can, due to Cloudflare potentially blocking them.
