Reinstall network drivers
Please make sure you have a driver install file available to run incase windows does not automatically reinstall them upon restarting your PC at the end.
Uninstall via Device Manager
- Open Device Manager
- Press
Win + Xand select Device Manager from the menu.
- Press
Win + R, type devmgmt.msc, and press Enter.
Locate Network Adapters
- Expand the Network adapters section.
- Right-click your network device (e.g., Intel Wi-Fi 6, Realtek PCIe, etc.) and select Uninstall device.
- Check the box that says "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" (if available).
- Click Uninstall.
- Windows will reinstall the default driver upon reboot. If not, you
wantwill need another device tomanuallydownloadinstalltheadriversnewondriver,anddownloadtransfer itfirsttofromyourthePC.manufacturer's website.
