How to access LocalAdmin log files

Player.LocalAdmin log files (often simply referred to as “player logs”) are files generated by unity every time LocalAdmin is started. Depending on the gameLocalAdmin closes.configuration Sometimes,setup, they may detail exceptions and critical errors caught by Unity itself.errors. Ticket staff will normally ask for the log files to see if the game is spouting an error continuously, or if a major exception points towards a specific crash log.

You can procure your latest log file by completing the following steps:

Windows Instructions

  1. Open yourFile steam library and right click on SCP:SLExplorer
  2. SelectPress the “Properties”windows andkey then+ “Local Files” option.
  3. Click the “Browse Local Files” buttonR to automatically open a Run Dialogue.
  4. In the dialogue box, enter exactly: %appdata%\SCP Secret Laboratory\LocalAdminLogs\
  5. Press Enter
  6. Open the folder windownamed viewingafter the troublesome server port.
  7. Now click the Date Modified column to sort the files newest-oldest.
  8. Now you can either open the newest log file to investigate the issue yourself or send it into the discord chat for us to look at :)

Linux Instructions

  1. Open your gameFile filesManager
  2. RunNavigate into the “log.bat”user programrunning LocalAdmin (sometimesusually just/home/scpsl/)
  3. called
  4. Enter “log”,the if.config/SCP\ youSecret\ haveLaboratory/LocalAdminLogs folder.
  5. Enter the folder named after the troublesome server port.
  6. Sort the files by newest-oldest by clicking on the Date Modified column. This is different across many file extensionsmanagers disabled).unfortunately.
  7. ThisFind willthe bringnewest you to a new file explorer page with your player.log. You should copy thislog file and pasteeither open it somewhereto you can findinvestigate it again.yourself or send it into the discord chat for us to look at :)
