SCP:SL crashes and displays a box with a loading bar and the SCP:SL logo!

This issue is typically referred to as a “Unity Crash”, as the presence of this crash handler means that an exception was caught by Unity itself. Typically this represents an issue unrelated to the game client itself- user hardware and software issues are the common causes, but an issue with our anti-cheat solution is not out of the question either.

Before continuing, please ensure that you meet the requirements to play SCP:SL. Your PC specs should match or be more powerful than the current minimum specs on steam- anything less powerful risks having issues occur simply due to your hardware not being able to keep up with SCP:SL. As well, please ensure you are on an up-to-date version of Windows 11 and other operating systems are not supported at this time.
