I'm getting an error from steam saying "An error occurred while updating SCP: Secret Laboratory (missing executable)".

If you're using ESET Antivirus and encountering an issue where SCPSL.exe is falsely flagged as a malicious program, this is a false-positive error. We are currently working on getting this resolved on ESET's side.
