A blacklisted program has been detected!

Description of issue

This issue is typically caused by using debugging programs or injectors which can trigger a blacklisted program detection.

Before continuing, please ensure that you meet the requirements to play SCP:SL. Your PC specs should match or be more powerful than the current minimum specs on steam- anything less powerful risks having issues occur simply due to your hardware not being able to keep up with SCP:SL. As well, please ensure you are on an up-to-date version of windows 8.1 or 10- Windows 11 and other operating systems are not supported at this time.

Resolution steps

Open CMD as Aministrator
Type “tasklist > c:\tasklist.txt” (Or any other location)
Check for programs such as “Injector.exe, Ida.exe, Ida64.exe” or uninstall possible hacking tools
Uninstall those programs
Check if the game is playable now
