Report a bug here!

Please note that the Technical Support team cannot assist with the Reporting of bugs, nor with their resolution. Please direct any questions regarding Game Bugs to the Quality Assurance Discord server.

Before Making a report

  • Ensure that the issue you are reporting occurs on a Vanilla server (a server without any plugins). If you’re playing on a server, ask the owner or server staff if the server is vanilla.
  • Attempt to ensure the issue that you are reporting is reproducible, and if possible, note the steps to reproducing the bug.
  • Follow this guide to generate a player.log file. Attaching this file to your bug report may assist developers with determining the exact cause of your bug.
  • Read the full list of guidelines found here.

Important Note - the Player.Log file will contain the following information:

  • Your SteamID and Steam Profile name.
  • Your System’s Username
  • The country your Computer is registered in.
  • Some Basic information about your Computer hardware.

Please be sure to manually censor any information you are concerned with sharing.

  • Attempt to get a short video of your bug if at all possible. The video should be uploaded to YouTube, and should briefly demonstrate the issue you are facing.
  • Ensure that you meet the SCP: SL’s Minimum Requirements.

Before continuing, please review our Issue Tracker, to ensure that your bug has not already been reported as well as making sure that your issue is not included in our DO NOT REPORT list. Duplicate bug reports will be deleted.

If your bug is present on the tracker, it may be in your interests to comment in the card with any information you might be able to provide.

If your bug is not present on the issue tracker, then you can report it via our Bug Reporting form, in order to generate a card for your issue. A link to the form is provided below.

https://support.scpslgame.com/bug-report

Once you have filled out the form, a card will be created for your issue under the “Pending Confirmation” category. Cards that need further information will be placed under the "Pending Information" category.
